Blue Plaque Unveiled in Atherton
Brian Joyce and Maree Houghton were recently invited to attend the unveiling of a blue plaque for Atherton born Cinematographer, Geoffrey Unsworth.
Geoffrey received 2 Academy awards and numerous BAFTAS for his work in the film industry and, after Brian spoke of him at our Local History group, both Brian and Maree nominated Geoffrey for a blue plaque which was unveiled at Atherton Town Hall.
